David is a recognised authority on employee share schemes, employee benefits and human resource strategy formulation and has practiced in these subjects for over 25 years. He has achieved significant success with client companies in developing innovative strategies based on bespoke solutions in employee incentive arrangements. Always the objective is to achieve optimum response from participants at all levels in terms of performance and motivation.
Since establishing David Craddock Consultancy Services in 1997, David has developed a varied clientele ranging from major public limited companies with international considerations to smaller private companies. David has successfully undertaken consultancy assignments across Continental Europe, the Americas, the Far East, the Middle East, Australasia and Africa as well as in the UK and Ireland. Through his travels, David has developed highly-refined cultural assimilation methodologies for the communication of motivational scheme arrangements.
David contributes regularly to conferences and seminars all over the world, particularly on employee share schemes. Key research that David has undertaken is on the mechanisms that facilitate environmental change in businesses, the practical implementation of motivational theory in employee incentive schemes, the relationship between employee share ownership and employment levels and the strategic role of employee share incentive schemes in a social market economy. David's research work has been used for representations to the British Government and the European Commission.
David is the author of The Tolley's Guide to Employee Share Schemes (2010), The ICSA Employee Share Schemes Handbook and the employee share schemes sections in The Croner Reward A to Z Essentials of Pay and Benefits.
